Shopping centers and retailers are ready for the St. Patrick’s Day holiday. According to the National Retail Foundation, consumers are expected to spend $4.8 billion on St. Patrick’s Day in 2014. Seventy-seven percent of 18 to 24 year-olds plan to celebrate the holiday. Another 45 percent of 25 to 34 year-olds are expected to attend a party at a bar or restaurant, also according to the NRF.
